Head of Community & Welfare, Junior School - Michelle Sprenger

Dear Parents and Carers,

It’s been a fabulous start to Term 3, with Stage 3 settled back into Florence Young and the renovated spaces wowing us all! We’ve also warmly welcomed back Mrs Ashleigh Waldren to Stage 1 and Mrs Martina Toms to the Stage 2 team. The Athletics Carnival added to the buzz, with wonderful House spirit on display.

Last week in parent sessions, Dr Judith Locke shared five essential life skills: resilience (bouncing back), self-regulation (doing hard things now for a better future), resourcefulness (solving problems independently), respect (valuing the rights of others), and responsibility (being community-minded). These skills align beautifully with our Calvary distinctive on the development of character.

Encourage your child to grow these skills through our Term 3 co-curricular clubs (see link) and explore Judith’s book The Bonsai Child to continue the journey at home.

Blog - Girls Group

Girls Group is a welcoming, inclusive place for all girls in the Secondary School to connect, belong, and grow. Facilitated by our School Counsellor Mrs Tanya Tennant.  To read more about this Group please click on the image below for this week's Blog:
